Demi Lovato has opened up a lot about her struggles, including her one with an eating disorder. She’s working hard to have a positive body image for herself, as well as encouraging her fans to do the same. So, when she saw this Fiber One commercial that bothered her, she went to Twitter to explain why.
She tweeted, ‘Just saw a commercial for Fiber One bars… their slogan literally was, ‘hungry, no. Results, yes’ Seriously… what are we teaching people by saying that? Not eat to see results? Really disappointed. Yes losing weight for some people can be healthy, but it’s commercials like that that led me to thinking that not eating is okay. It’s NOT. There’s too much pressure on people these days to lose weight. Not okay.’
