Demi Lovato has spoken out against a weight loss commercial that she believes contributes to negative thinking and body image issues amongst young people.
Demi checked into rehab last year to deal with an eating disorder, and recently posted a photo of herself in a bikini on Twitter to prove that she has improved her body image problems.
Demi has now lashed out against a commercial that tells people not to eat if they want to lose weight.
She tweeted, "Just saw a commercial for Fiber-One bars.. Their slogan literally was "Hungry, no. Results, yes." Seriously.. What are we teaching people by saying that? Not to eat to see results? Really disappointed. Yes losing weight for some people can be healthy, but it's commercials like that, that led me into thinking that not eating is okay. It's NOT. There's too much pressure on people these days to lose weight."
She added, "Not okay.. #realtalk."
It's great to see Demi standing up for her beliefs!
