Award winning actress/singer Selena Gomez will host this year's Much Music Video Awards (MMVA). Confirmed Monday, the awards are set to take place in Canada this June.
"I am thrilled and honoured to host the MuchMusic Video Awards," said Gomez Monday. "I look forward to seeing all my Canadian fans and kicking off the summer together."
Nominations for this year's awards will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Lady Gaga is confirmed to perform.
The Much Music Video Awards will broadcast Sunday, June 19 at 9pm ET on Much Music and Fuse.
