American singer Joe Jonas has promised to devote himself to charity work following a life-changing humanitarian trip to Africa.
The Jonas Brothers singer went to Botswana and he admitted that he was humbled by the experience.
"I brought some of my best friends with me to be a part of this incredible experience. We were all changed by what we saw," Joe wrote in a Twitter post.
"I was able to spend time with many kids and teens that go to school there. Their schools do not have the room to take care of this many people. Some of the classes had hundreds of kids in rooms smaller than most living rooms in the US," he said.
"I also spent time with some of the babies that were born to mothers carrying the HIV AIDS virus. Out of the entire trip this was one of the most touching moments. I miss those children already. I was close to coming back home with many Joe Jr.s.," Joe further added.
Joe insists that he will return to Africa and continue his charity work in the future, reports The Daily Star.
"For the future, I plan on going back to Africa, as well as other nations, to help out in any way I can. I feel like hands-on work is where I feel most satisfied," Joe said.
