Miley Cyrus "My Job Isn't To Tell Kids How To Act"

Miley Cyrus says she is not responsible for how her fans act, despite being their role model.

The 17-year-old Disney star rose to fame as 'Hannah Montana' and is admired by young girls all over the world - but she doesn't want to be blamed if they make mistakes.

"Everything is so dramatic in the world," Miley explained. "My job is to be a role model, and that's what I want to do, but my job isn't to be a parent."

Cyrus told MTV: "My job isn't to tell your kids how to act or how not to act, because I'm still figuring that out for myself. So to take that away from me is a bit selfish.

"Your kids are going to make mistakes whether I do or not. That's just life."

Miley will be presenting at the Oscars next week but she won't be taking boyfriend Liam Hemsworth to the glitzy awards event.
