Nick Jonas Day

Today marks the third year since Nick Jonas told all of his fans that he was diabetic. For the past three years he has been raising awarness by going to Washington, DC to talk to the senate for further funding for diabetes research. Also his partnership with Bayer and his Simple Wins blog, has been reaching out to many diabetic children and teens. Through the Jonas Brothers charity Change For The Children Nick supports Diabetes Awarness which allows him to raise money to research a cure while he spreads awarness to more people. He has also participated in JDRF walks to raise money for a cure. I could go on and write paragraph after paragraph of all the amazing things Nick has done to raise awarness of this disease, but I am sure most of you alrrady know this information.

I ask that everyone today who is on twitter continues to trend #NickJonasDay. The strength that he shows everyday is truly inspiring to myself and many others. Whether you have Diabetes or not we are truly touched by his words of wisdom everytime he makes one of his (now famous to Jonas fans) “A Little Bit Longer” speeches. He proves to all of us that no matter what challenges life may throw your way you can never give up. So Like Nick says today and everyday, Don’t ever let it slow you down.
