Demi Lovato has revealed that Rihanna plays a part in her upcoming third album. In a recent interview with AHN, the "Sonny with a Chance" beauty admitted that the "Rude Boy" singer and Keri Hilson have inspired her sound as she worked on her follow-up effort to her sophomore album, "Here We Go Again".
Discussing about the album itself, the 17-year-old dished, "The new album so far it's a little more pop, it's more R&B. It's a little more soulful. It has a different sound to it so I'm really excited to see how it turns out." Asked whether it will be a little bit of a departure from her rock sound, she commented, "Kind of, but I feel like I'm going to be doing that too so I might be incorporating rock and R&B."
Though she has mentioned Rihanna and Keri Hilson as her inspiration, the "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" actress uncovered that she wants a hook-up with Trey Songz on this album. Responding to question who she would send some tweets to and ask to work with, she gushed, "I would love, love, love to collaborate with Trey Songz. I think that'd be awesome."
During the interview, Demi also revealed what to expect on her upcoming "Camp Rock" tour with the Jonas Brothers. "I'm adding dancers to my own personal set, not just for 'Camp Rock'," she said as she unraveled she will show off some dance moves on stage. "It's going to be a whole other element and I'm excited to see how it turns out. I'm just excited for my fans to see it."
Asked about her thought on being on the road with Joe Jonas after they broke up, Demi answered, "We thought about it when we first started dating, you know, to think about the consequences or what would happen if we weren't dating when it came to tour." She added, "It's definitely something we thought about before and we're just dealing with now. It's not bad, you know. We had a really great friendship before and now we just have to keep it going."
