Taylor Swift unveiled her latest album cover on June 18 for Speak Now. Featured in a flowy purple dress and showing just the right amount of skin for a teen idol we have to say that Taylor got the look just right.
Unfortunately we can’t say the same for Selena Gomez (who just released the album cover for A Year Without Rain) and Miley Cyrus, whose album Can’t Be Tamed, has been shamefully sitting on shelves for months now. Here’s the problem: Miley’s album cover, featuring the teenager in a belly baring leather outfit with a cranky face was just too gross for her audience! But Selena’s sickenly sweet cover was simply too boring.
We think that Taylor got it just right. She showed some skin. She smiled (big points for a smile)! But she didn’t come off too boring or childish. It’s a fine line for these young starlets and singers to walk and it's good to know there’s a woman like Taylor out there to show them how to walk it.
