Teenage girls all over the world will be beyond excited now that Joe Jonas is single once again. And teenage boys will be thrilled that Disney star Demi Lovota is once again single. The singer announced that he and Demi Lovato have called it quits.
The couple first met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007. In which Lovato plays the character that Jonas falls for because of her amazing voice. After the filming, the two got to know each other better and hit things off. Lovato toured with Jonas the following year, and they have been together ever since.
They both recently spoke to PEOPLE of their upcoming tour together which will kick off July 27 in Dallas. Lovato was excited to be on tour again with Jonas and was very much looking forward to it. However, fans were worried that the tour would be awkward due to the newly split.
Jonas and Lovato are still close friends, and promise their fans will not be disappointed. Jonas also told reporters that it was he who called it quits to focus on their friendship. Lovato confirms this, and states that they are still good friends and always will be.
