Miley Cyrus may have made her name playing the role of the wholesome Disney character, Hannah Montana, but now the 17 year old entertainer wants to put the "goody two shoes" role behind her to focus on more adult themed work.
A source told the National Enquirer, "Miley is just flat out sick of Hannah Montana. If she's at an appearance and someone calls her 'Hannah' she'll smile and pose for pictures, but later she'll call it annoying. She feels that Hannah
Montana is who she used to be, but now she says she grown out of her."
It seems that "grown out of her" might be a bit of an understatement. Most recently Miley was caught doing lapdances with producer Adam Shankman at a wrap party for the movie The Last Dance, in which she stars with her current squeeze, Liam Hensworth. Footage of the party has her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus concerned.
"Miley is rebelling big time. Her parents hit the roof when they saw the pictures of her gyrating on Shankman's lap. Her dad Billy Ray is livid because he fears Miley's behavior is going to cost her the wholesome Hannah Montana audience that catapulted her to stardom."
Miley recently moved out of her parents home and her latest video Can't Be Tamed proves that Miley no longer wants to focus on entertaining children. Let's hope that Disney drops her since she's "outgrown" the role and has little desire to carry on in the capacity of Hannah Montana.
