TAYLOR SWIFT was stunned by the turn-out of fans at her impromptu open-top bus gig in Hollywood last month (Oct10) - she only gave them an hour's notice via a tweet.
The country star hit the streets of Los Angeles on top of a bus adorned with her face as part of a promotional tour for her new album Speak Now. The stunt was filmed for her TV special which aired in America on Thursday night (25Nov10).
And she admits she feared she'd be playing to just a handful of people outside the Kodak Theatre - but thousands showed up.
She says, "I didn't say if we were performing or anything like that, I was very vague. I really didn't know if anybody was gonna show up, or if maybe it would be like 50 people or something.
"We rolled up on this giant bus with my face on it and all of a sudden the streets are filled with people, the sidewalks are packed, there are people up on balconies.
"I have never experienced anything like that."
