EEN heartthrob Justin Bieber has chopped off his famous mop of hair for a book promotion of his memoir, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever, in New York.
Barnes & Noble and fans were shocked to see Bieber with a shorter do for the first time since he first got his trademark mop.
The hair that normally covers the 16-year-old's brow hovered above it as he held up his new book, which charts his rise from YouTube sensation to Usher protégé, to over a thousand excited fans.
"my fans are the most loyal passionate people ever. Super Grateful. thank u," the Baby
singer tweeted. “We got alot more people to see ... im not leaving until i keep my promise. thanks for everyone being so cool."
Less cool was the fact that Bieber's whole crew fell crook following his appearance in Manhattan.
"great there is bug going around here in nyc and now my entire team got it," he tweeted afterwards. "Everyone is sick today. AW C'MON!!"
