Demi Lovato went to South America, and she worked with the Red Cross to bring comfort to her friends and fans who were affected by the recent earthquakes in Chile. 370,000 homes were destroyed or damaged in the quake, which occured last February, and the country is still recovering. The Red Cross is trying to get youth from the US and around the world involved in their global efforts to help after disasters.
Demi addressed a classroom of kids begging them to write letters, which she personally delivered to the Red Cross headquarters in Santiago. Chile is full of Demi fans, and she had a great tour stop there. It’s great that she’s thinking and supporting the people trying to rebuild their lives. Check it out!
