In addition to "Glee" returning, there's another big release: Selena Gomez's new album, A Year Without Rain. And, as it is with most industries, there's no better person to give their impression of your work than one of your peers.
Fortunately for Selena, that person is her good friend Taylor Swift, who also has a new album, Speak Now, set for release in October. Taylor has already picked out her favorites from Selena's tracks, preferring "Rock God" and "Ghost of You" to the already-released track "Round & Round."
"She heard [A Year Without Rain], and it's so funny 'cause she's very passionate, and she's very dramatic—which I think is why we're friends because we're both dramatic—but she has her favorites already," said Selena. "But she definitely danced and had her little thing. She's completely honest with me, so it was nice to have her feedback."
Taylor was nice enough to return the favor and let Selena sneak a listen to Speak Now. Selena's picked her favorite tracks as well—"Dear John" and the unnamed track 13—adding that she's excited for the upcoming record because it's "amazing."
"Her album is going to be awesome. I think people are gonna be really surprised. It's not different [but] you just don't really believe she could top it, in a way," she explained. "She took her style and made it bigger. It's going to be really good."
Which album are you more looking forward to: Selena's or Taylor's?
