Taylor Swift Talks About Possible 'Glee' Episode

They've done Gaga. And Britney. And Madonna. Yes, blonde women who sing catchy pop songs are very popular inspirations for the singers on "Glee." So it shouldn't be too surprising that Taylor Swift has been in talks regarding the possibility of her music being included in an episode of the Fox hit.

"There have been conversations," she told Zap2it. "And when those happen with all these new opportunities, it usually comes down to scheduling. I'm a huge fan of the show, and I think it showcases music in a great way, so I would be really excited if anything were to happen there."

In the meantime, fans will certainly have plenty of new tunes; her forthcoming album Speak Now comes out on October 25. Swift recently sat down with MTV News and spoke about the album, which features a song dedicated to an incident that made headlines in 2009.

"I had a lot of options going into the VMAs: You can not go; you can perform your current single; you can pretend like nothing happened last year that everybody is not thinking about; or you can say what you need to say at the time that you need to say it," she said about her performance of "Innocent" at the Video Music Awards in September. "And having an album coming out that's called Speak Now, that's about saying what you feel at the time, I knew I needed to go to the VMAs this year."

This week, Swift released the breakup track "Back to December," which shows her in contrite mode. "I've never felt the need to apologize in a song before. But in the last two years, I've experienced a lot, [including] a lot of different kinds of learning lessons," she said. "And sometimes you learn a lesson too late and at that point you need to apologize because you were careless."
