Fans of country/pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift have something to anticipate now that her Manila concert is a go early 2011.
After initial reports on various concert dates, Renen de Guia of Ovation Productions confirmed that “Taylor Swift - Speak Now World Tour 2011,” which kicks off in Japan on Feb. 13, is set for the same month in Manila.
De Guia said Taylor’s world tour comes after the launch of her third studio album, “Speak Now,” which will be released in Asia on Oct. 26. He added that a special announcement about the concert in synchronization with all Southeast Asian countries included in the tour will be made on Nov. 1.
As of this writing, no official confirmed date of Taylor’s concert has been announced yet, although the rumor of a Feb. 19 concert has been circulating around different fansites and online fora.
Swift is the singer behind the hit songs “Love Story” and "You Belong With Me.” The last time she toured was for her album "Fearless" which had the countries USA, Canada, UK, Australia and Japan on the itinerary.
Her latest song, "Mine," is at # 14 on Billboard Hot 100 this week, ahead of Ke$ha’s “Take It Off,” Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” and Maroon 5’s “Misery.”
