Jon Chu, who directed Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” movie as well as the “Step Up” movies, will be directing the next “G.I. Joe” movie.

The movie will be released from Paramount, the same studio that released “Never Say Never.” The movie is set to release in 2012.

Selena Gomez whispers something into Justin Bieber’s ear as they attend the Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at Sunset Tower on Sunday night (February 27) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The duo both wore threads by Dolce & Gabbana to the 2011 Oscars event.

Selena’s stylist Basia writes to JJJ about her look: “I have wanted to do a strong red color on Selena for a long time and this was the perfect time to do it. We loved the shade of red on this stunning Dolce & Gabbana dress because it beautifully complemented Selena’s skin tone. She loved the shape and felt very comfortable in it.

“After the dress was chosen, Selena decided that she wanted to do gold jewelry, so we decided on the beautiful gold Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings and bracelet. Her shoes are Brian Atwood and clutch by Judith Leiber.”

Justin Bieber's Dad To Become A Rapper?

Justin Bieber's dad apparently wants to follow the teen star by entering the music world himself.

Insiders claim Bieber's father, 36-year-old Jeremy, wants to launch his own career - but as a rapper.

According to the Daily Star, Jeremy thinks Justin's contacts in the industry could help him live his dream and he also plans to use his experience of being in jail for his lyrics.

"He wants to help him sort his life out," a source said. "Justin is one of the biggest stars in the world with lots of cash and the best contacts in the business. If he can't make his dad a star then nobody can."

The insider also revealed that Usher could help him launch his rap career. "With Usher on board the world is his oyster and given how popular Justin is around the globe, his dad will surely ride his coat tails and cash in too."

"Justin credits Jeremy with giving him his musical genes and, despite their long separation, won't hear a word against his dad," they continued.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez stepped out to the Oscars parties as a couple.

Teen singer Justin, who turns 17 this week, and Disney star Selena have been spotted out together before.

And they chose the night of the Oscars to step out as a fully fledged couple, as they took to the red carpet hand in hand - Selena wearing a scarlet dress and lipstick, and Justin donning a matching red handkerchief in his jacket pocket.

At Vanity Fair's exclusive aftershow party, the couple were spotted snuggling together in a patio booth, and Justin's mobile now has a photo of them together as its wallpaper.

Taylor Swift and her rumoured ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal were also spotted chatting at the party, although country singer Taylor was seen leaving the party alone.

By the time Black Swan actress Natalie Portman arrived with her best actress Oscar statuette in one hand, and her fiance Benjamin Millepied gripping the other, the party was in full swing. Accepting congratulations left and right, a tired but happy looking Natalie, pregnant with her first child, left after only 20 minutes.

Rapper 50 Cent wove his way through the party, as did half the cast of music-filled TV show Glee. Comedians Larry David and Sacha Baron Cohen joked together while Kevin Spacey laughed with Jimmy Kimmel. Charlize Theron joyfully hugged best supporting actor nominee Jeremy Renner.

Other celebrity attendees included Jennifer Hudson, Hugh Jackman, Donald Trump, Michelle Williams, Amy Adams and Gwyneth Paltrow, who waved to screaming fans outside and shouted "I love you too!" as she left in her limo.

Kevin Jonas plays with his food as he and brother Nick visit Martorano’s Italian American Kitchen at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL over the weekend.

The duo, joined by Kevin’s lovely wife Danielle, came out to support and participate in the 2011 Jason Taylor Celebrity Golf Classic.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Jason Taylor Foundation, Holtz Children’s Hospital and Take Stock in Children.

The trio had a chance to make their own cannoli’s at Matorano’s. Yummy!

Nick Jonas may be nominated for Favorite TV Actor at the 2011 Kids Choice Awards — but he’s hoping there’s a write in vote and win for big brother Kevin.

The 18-year-old musician told MTV, “As far as the best actor nomination goes, I’m really shocked by that. As far as the acting thing goes I’m still learning. I don’t know if I’ll win it. I hope I do. Maybe the fans will vote for us.”

Nick continued, “It’s always funny with me and Joe, it kind of splits the vote a bit and so maybe just vote for Kevin. I think no matter if Joe or I did win, I’d be like, ‘I think Kevin’s the funniest actor out of all of us. He deserves this.’”

Nick Jonas' Cambio Chat Is A Success!

Nick Jonas' Chat via Cambio was a great success. Though the chat didn't really start on time due to technical reasons, fans kept praying to have everything fixed as soon as possible.

Kevin Jonas, Nick's dad tweeted saying, "you guys killed the internet" for having the delay. Billions of fans around the world remained calm yet one fan replied to PapaJonas' tweet saying, "We will bury the internet until we have Nick Jonas". Truly the Jonas brothers have billions of people loving them.

Too bad Nick didn't have a guitar at first. He kinda the piano with his iPhone and sang a little of A Little Bit Longer. But in the middle of the chat, his bandmate brought him a guitar and he sang Rocketeer, which was one of the songs he played in the White House.

Nick thanked the fans for the support they have been showing all these years. He thanked for nominating the band for Nickelodeon. Nick didn't say anything about the next Jonas Brothers song (he only said that there are lots of surprises coming).

Justin Bieber: 'I'll stay on the right path'

Justin Bieber has insisted that he will not spiral out of control like other teen superstars.

The 16-year-old singer, who has reportedly been studying the lives of troubled young celebrities, assured fans that he will not be seduced by vices such as drink and drugs.

Contactmusic quotes him as saying: "There are a lot of teen stars that have taken the wrong road. I have a great support system, I have great friends and family to keep me grounded and keep me on the right path."

The Never Say Never star also thanked his devoted and vocal fanbase for keeping him motivated through their ongoing support.

"My fans are really loud but they are great. I wouldn't be in this position without them so they are definitely great and I give them all the respect. I've never liked someone that much to just go and scream that loud."

Video: Nick Jonas Singing and Dancing at White House for Motown Tribute

Nick Jonas busted out some soulful tunes at the White House on Thursday, February 24. The youngest member of the Jonas Brothers joined host Jamie Foxx and the other performers Seal and John Legend to open the show with a medley of the Temptation song.

He later took the mic to perform a solo rendition of "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)", a classic song by Four Tops. The teen singer/songwriter tweeted after the PBS TV special was over, "UNBELIEVABLE! Just finished an absolutely incredible night at the White House!"

Smokey Robinson made a duet with Sheryl Crow in "You Really Got a Hold on Me" and then Stevie Wonder followed with his own classic "You Are the Sunshine of My Life". "Berry, thank you for this incredible Motown ride," he called out one of fellow Motown vets Berry Gordy who was in the house that night.

The other musical guests at the "Motown Sound: In Performance at the White House" included Natasha Bedingfield, Gloriana, Ledisi and Jordin Sparks. "Glee" stars Amber Riley and Mark Salling performed as well, singing "Living for the City" and "Just My Imagination" respectively.

Motown is "the soundtrack of the civil rights era," President Barack Obama said. "[It helps] blur the line between music that was considered either black or white." First Lady Michele additionally stated, "As Motown rose, so did the forces of change in this country. During that time, it was the time of King and Kennedy, it was a time of marches and rallies and groundbreaking civil rights laws."

The event was livestreamed and will later premiere on Tuesday, March 1 at 8 P.M. ET.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Break Up: Who Dumped Whom?

It seems Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, the world's most famous "are-they-or-aren't-they-a-couple" are now no longer a couple. If indeed they ever were a couple in the first place. This weekend, tweets are flying thick and fast informing the world, not to mention the worldwide hordes of true beliebers, that the teen dream's affair with the Disney starlet is over.

So what, if anything, destroyed "Jelena's" romance? Or, perhaps the question should be: Was there ever a real romance to destroy? For ages, the two have steadfastly stuck to their story that they're just good friends. So why all this hype? And why were there no specifics? Who dumped whom? Did they end it in person, or on the phone a la Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift? Did one of them cheat? If so, which one? None of these questions was even broached let alone answered. Could it be that their rumored split is another Internet hoax spawned by the collective wishful thinking of millions of jealous, lovesick adolescents?

According to Right Celebrity, "Twitter is one of the best places to start a false Internet meme. Fans of the Biebs know this well—and they do it often. His fans dominate a huge chunk of Tweets sent worldwide, and today they are aflutter with hopeful messages about a newly single JB."

That's true enough. Justin Bieber's fans have attacked Selena Gomez before. The most infamous incident occurred after photos of Bieber and Gomez kissing at a Caribbean villa were leaked online. A barrage of death threats against the Wizards of Waverly Place star immediately ensued. Later, they hacked Selena's Facebook page flooding it with negative comments about her Baby singer beau.

So what's the answer to this conundrum? Are Justin and Selena still a couple or not? The answer is a resounding "Only they know for sure." While it's true that they're now "separated," it's only because they're on opposite sides of the earth. Gomez is touring Japan, while Bieber is in the U.S. promoting Never Say Never, cutting his hair, towing Twitter followers, and preparing for his My World Tour on March 5th.

If and when the teen stars do decide to confess their love, or lack of it, to the world, hopefully all true beliebers will take a lesson from one of Bieber's Twitter followers. In response to the news of his alleged split from Gomez, she wrote: "I honestly don't care about if they broke up, I’m just scare that (he) could be heart broken.”

Let's hope she and all true beliebers will be able to rejoice in their idol's happiness just as much as they now fear for his heartbreak.

Taylor Sift Hits The Rink With "Glee" Star

Taylor Swift has prompted speculation she’s dating Chord Overstreet after attending an ice hockey game with the “Glee” hunk in Los Angeles.

The country sweetheart split from Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal in December after a brief romance, but the blonde beauty appears to have moved on with her love life after checking out an NHL game with Overstreet on Thursday.

The two stars were snapped getting close as the Minnesota Wild faced off against the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center.

This wouldn’t be the first time Taylor has hung out with a “Glee” star. There were rumors she briefly dated Cory Monteith, which inspired the song “Ours.”

Miley Cyrus Lends A Helping Hand In Haiti

Miley Cyrus was recently honored at the First Annual Global Action Awards Gala for her humanitarian work and she’s continuing that effort as we speak.

Miley is currently in Haiti in support of the Starkey Hearing Foundation, an organization that Jordin Sparks also works with.

Miley headed to Haiti and teamed up with the Livesay family, World Wide Village and the Starkey Hearing Foundation to bring the gift of hearing to roughly 200 Haitian children.

Justin Bieber Talks About 17th Birthday Plans

Despite being the worlds most famous teenager, Justin Bieber has revealed that he won't be going wild on his 17th birthday.

The Biebster, who turns seventeen on 1st March, has claimed that he is looking forward to having a "relaxing" birthday, eating cheesecake with his grandparents.
Speaking about his birthday plans to E! Online, the Baby singer admitted: "I only have, like, four days, so I'm just going to relax because I start my world tour on March 4 so just going to mentally prepare and just relax."

He explained: "No birthday bash... Hopefully my grandparents will be out here and I'll be able to spend time, a little bit, with them. My grandma makes the best cheesecake, cherry cheesecake. She made it for my 13th birthday."
Hmmm, sounds very rock 'n' roll! While we wonder when our invite to JB's b'day celebrations will arrive, Justin also addressed the decision to cut off his famous floppy fringe earlier this week.

The One Time hitmaker claimed: "I just wanted to that's all, not really a big reason; I just woke up and said, 'I don't want this anymore,' so I just cut it."
Bieber added: "It's not really about that. The fans really liked it, but they'll like me no matter what, because I think it's about the music. I'm really excited to see what the fans overseas think and take it day by day."
