Bieber 'Remixes' album debuts at number one

Justin Bieber may have missed out on the Grammy’s Best New Artist award last week, but the teen pop wonder is acing the charts anew with a new number one album in "Never Say Never – The Remixes," which debuts at the top of the Billboard album charts this week. Shifting 165,000 copies to give Bieber his second number one album in less than a year – his first was "My World 2.0" which reached the top last April 2010 – it is also the first remixes album to top the Billboard 200 Charts since Jennifer Lopez had her own chart-topping set, "J To The L-O – The Remixes" back in 2002.

And to further show that Bieber Fever is still burning hot, all of his albums – namely "My World 2.0," "My World Acoustic," and his 2009 debut "My World," plus his new set – are scattered all over the Top 40 charts, a first since country music superstar Garth Brooks did the feat back in January of 1993.

Over to the singles, Lady Gaga is still the queen of the Hot 100 Charts as “Born This Way” holds on to number one for the second straight week. “Born This Way” also tops this week’s Digital Songs Chart with a whopping 509,000 downloads.

Making major moves at the charts is Cee Lo Green with “F**k You” (aka “Forget You”), which jumps five notches to number two. Cee Lo Green’s soul-tinged number is one of two songs on the Hot 100 charts top ten with expletives on the title – the other being Pink’s acoustic guitar-driven “F**kin’ Perfect,” which sits at number six this week.

At number three is Bruno Mars, who retains his position with “Grenade.” Making the big jump from number 32 to number four in the top ten is rapper-producer Dr. Dre with “I Need A Doctor” featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey.

Katy Perry, meanwhile, takes a dip as “firework” moves on to a still-respectable spot at number five. Rihanna makes the move up as “S&M,” her latest single, rises up from eight to seven.

Justin Bieber also makes it to the singles chart as “Never Say Never” featuring Jaden Smith zooms in from number 25 to land the number eight spot. Enrique Iglesias moves down as “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)” slips from six to nine. And closing out this week’s rundown of the top ten singles is rapper Wiz Khalifa, who drops six notches from four to ten with “Black & Yellow.”
