Metrowny suggests that although the rumor that Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas are back together can't be substantiated, the rehab work of Lovato may have included confronting the issues that put her in treatment in the first place, which was partially due to her break up with Joe Jonas. So, as the outlet further suggests, if it turns out that Lovato and Jonas are speaking again, it could be part of the recovery process.
