It looks like Disney Channel star Selena Gomez may not be staying too close to her roots, after all, to play "the fairest of them all" in an upcoming adaptation of "Snow White." Contrary to reports that were being thrown around early in the week, reports are now that Gomez is not being looked at to play the signature role.
Meanwhile, the rumors surrounding Kristen Stewart (of "Twilight" fame) at least have some more credibility to them. Although nothing has been confirmed by any means, producers seem to at least be interested in bringing Stewart on board for an audition.
This adaptation is ultimately still in the extremely early stages, but we do have a few details.
Rupert Sanders is directed the project (which has the title of "Snow White and the Huntsman"), and that there are two Oscar-worthy cast members on board in Charlize Theron and Viggo Mortensen.
