Last week it was widely reported that Kristen Stewart was being considered for the lead role of Snow White in a new movie, Snow White and the Huntsman.
However, this week brings the news that Kristen may be beaten to the role by Wizards of Waverly Place star, Selena Gomez.
Hollywood Life has reported that as well as Kristen and Selena, Leighton Meester and Miranda Cosgrove are all in contention.
It is thought that Charlize Theron will play the Evil Queen and Viggo Mortensen will pay the role of the hunstman.
The movie is set for release through Universal Pictures in 2012 and will begin filming later this year.
