What does a singer do when her man has crushed her heart? Like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, they sing about it, obviously! Three days after Demi Lovato's former beau, Joe Jonas, ended their two-and-a-half month (yeah we know, it's not that long) relationship, she changed the lyrics to her song during a concert!
M Magazine pointed out that while Demi was singing her song “Solo” at her May 28 performance in Rio de Janeiro (check out the full video), she blatantly changed her lyrics from “why don’t you stick to acting” to “why don’t you stick to the tambourine."
Now who could she be referring to? Of course, it has to be Joe, who apparently likes to play those tambourines! Hmmm … this has to be some sort of message about the breakup, which was announced last week merely days after the Jonas Brothers and Demi chatted with us about going on tour together.
Demi insisted they would “remain friends," but it sounds like there are even more lyrics from "Solo" that she could change up or even keep the same to mirror her emotions: i.e. "Now that I'm proud to admit we're done, good luck trying to find me."
What do you think about Demi Lovato changing up her lyrics? Was it on purpose?
