Selena Gomez designing ethical fashion line

Forget about Miley Cyrus. There's another Disney teen queen who is doing more for the world than strutting her stuff in barely-there clothing.

Selena Gomez, the star of Wizards of Waverly Place, recently gave the scoop about planning her own line of eco-friendly apparel, according to ContactMusic.com.

"I want the pieces that can be easy to dress up or down, and the fabrics being eco-friendly and organic are super important," she told the news outlet.

The line will be called Dream Out Loud, and came about from her appreciation of the people who made her famous.

"My inspiration for my clothing line is mainly my fans. I love clothes and I love fashion. I think it's a wonderful way of expressing yourself."

Gomez wouldn't be the first celebrity to embrace the idea of starting an ethical fashion company. In fact, U2's Bono runs Edun, a line of organic, ethically-made apparel.
