Selena Gomez has denied that she missed out on having a normal childhood.
The 'Round and Round' singer has been a TV star since the age of seven, when she landed a role playing Gianna on 'Barney & Friends'.
But the actress - who stars as 'Wizards of Waverly Place' character Alex Russo and is currently shooting her new movie 'Monte Carlo' - says her career hasn't affected her earlier years.
"No, not at all - I love what I do," Selena said when asked if she missed out on anything. "I do understand that it's kinda different to how other people are brought up."
"My mom and my family have been really good with maintaining normality in my life, like being able to hang out with my friends, go bowling, watch DVDs."
