The Hannah Montana star does not seem to be affected by any criticism that is tossed her way. In fact, she does not read or listen to any negative reviews about her and her work.
The 17-year-old Miley’s latest album, ‘Can’t be tamed’ actually represents her growth from a teen into an adult and she has paid no heed to the people who feel that she is trying to act more than her age.
In a recent interview, Miley stated, “I try to think of really just the positive things. My family, we're only allowed to have 10 channels basically at our house, because we don't want to see any of that stuff
“So the people that are around me, they bring me the good things, and I never see anything or read anything that's bad because it's never e-mailed to me by my manager or publicist or whoever.”
And when asked about dealing with any gossip or criticism, the actor and singer said, “That's the job of the team that I have around me: to make sure that those things aren't talked about.”

About the criticism on her latest album, the youngster said, “A lot of people say there's things that are on the Internet about me, or whatever, and then they go, 'Well if that's you, how do you expect people to buy your record when your fans are kids?’”
She clarified, “My record isn't the bullcrap that people write about me. My record is what I want to say and what I think is important.”
One thing the tween star is certain about is the support of her parents and close ones. What matters most at the end of the day to her is that her parents are proud of her and she says, “I'm a very inspirational person.”
No charges against Perez Hilton
Miley Cyrus and her parents Billy Ray and Trish are not going to press any charges against blogger, Perez Hilton who posted an allegedly up skirt photo of the sensational star on Twitter.
Perez Hilton had earlier posted an uncensored picture of Miley on his Twitter account, showing her in a short white dress without underwear. Later however, he had admitted the picture was a fake.
A close source to Miley’s family reveals, “She just wants to move on. She thinks it's the work of an idiot and wants to move forward.”
Miley had earlier said about the incident, “that's some idiot being an idiot.”
