Manicure mayhem for Miley Cyrus as she is turned away from Kensington salon for not having an appointment

You'd expect a beauty salon to accommodate an international celebrity when they turn up for a manicure.

Unfortunately for singer Miley Cyrus, her chart status proved to be insignificant when she was turned away from a London salon for apparently not having an appointment.

According to eyewitnesses, the star, who is currently in the capital, walked into a salon on Kensington Church Street to get a pedicure.

But as she didn't have an appointment, the star was allegedly turned away from the salon.
Looking embarrassed, she and her best friend Scotti, who has accompanied her on her trip to the UK, make a swift exit.

Luckily for her, there was another salon just down the road that was happy to accommodate her.
Miley has been in London where she performed on one of the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent last week.

And considering she is a successful singer and actress, many assumed she would have packed a varied and vast wardrobe.

But unlike many stars of her fame who factor in numerous costume changes each day for every appearance, the 17-year-old seems to have one top she loves more than any other.

Because for two events yesterday, the singer wore the same black lace top.

For the appearance in Whitely shopping centre in London, she teamed it with a black mini-skirt, heels and a clutch of silver necklaces.

And then, perhaps feeling the UK temperature a bit too chilly as a Nashville native, she changed into faded black skinny jeans and heels - but the top remained.

She spent the evening having dinner with friends in Japanese Mayfair restaurant Sake no hana.
From there, Cyrus and her entourage headed for Topshop in Oxford Street for an after hours shopping session.
