Miley Cyrus has been known lately for her cleavage-bearing tops, skimpy shorts and revealing corsets, clearly making a statement that says “I’m not a Disney girl anymore.”
“I’m not trying to be, like, go to a club and get a bunch of guys,” said Cyrus, according to Us Magazine. “What I’m trying to do is make a point with my record and be consistent in the way my record sounds and the way I dress.”
The 17-year-old singer, who is dating Australian actor Liam Hendsworth, recently released a new video called “Can’t Be Tamed.” In the video, Cyrus wears numerous elaborate outfits that show off her legs and cleavage, including a $25,000 corset.
However, the young singer insists that she is not trying to act “slutty” or project a provocative image. Instead, she just wants to dress older, and adds that she dresses very differently from her Hannah Montana years.
“That’s not why I’m trying to sell my records,” said Cyrus. “I want people to buy my record because of my music.”
