Miley Cyrus reveals heart condition

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus certainly is a household name. The actress and successful singer has become a teen idol since landing the roles Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana in Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana’.

Her singing career has also seen her celebrate one success after another, after she not only released two highly popular albums, but was also critically acclaimed as a serious songwriter.
Celebrating her global superstardom, Miley wrote an autobiography to bring her closer to her fans. In the autobiography, titled ‘Miles To Go’, Miley,17, speaks openly about many facets of her life, including career, friendship and heartbreak. Miley also revealed she suffers from a heart condition.

The heart condition is called tachycardia.

“The type of tachycardia I have isn’t dangerous,” FOX News quotes Miley as writing. “It won’t hurt me, but it does bother me. There is never a time onstage when I’m not thinking about my heart.”

Tachycardia can be defined as a rapid heart rate. The resting heart rate is higher than usual, namely up at about 100 beats per minute, medterms.com explains. Generally a mild form of this condition hardly requires treatment, if any at all.
