Jonas Brothers surprise school students

The Jonas Brothers have surprised students at a school in Los Angeles by making an impromptu visit to their assembly.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the popstars appeared on stage at Loz Feliz Arts Charter School yesterday morning as the new school year was kicked off with a special assembly.

Writing on his Twitter account, middle brother Joe said: "Starting the day off surprising some kids at a brand new school with OfficeMax gifting them some school supplies."

He added: "Feels good to give back."

The trio reportedly gave the elementary school around $25,000 worth of school supplies in coordination with OfficeMax's 'A Day Made Better' campaign, which aims to supply 1,000 teachers with $1,000 worth of school products each.
