MILEY CYRUS SPEAKS ABOUT OUTGROWING "HANNAH MONTANA"

The final season of "Hannah Montana" has finished filming, and is now airing on Disney Channel. The cast of the hit show recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about the end of the show and growing up.

So is the ending of the show going to be sad? According to Miley Cyrus it's not. She shared, "I think that what we're shooting is good because...Miley Stewart's not sad, Hannah Montana is not sad. None of the characters are sad. They're looking forward to moving on to new things and to new adventures. The characters are going to miss each other, but they're not necessarily sad."

Miley also shared that she feels it's a good time to end the show because they're outgrowing it. "I'll be 18 this year. Definitely you do a lot of growing, and that's hard to do on a show that does have a lot of restrictions as well. Because there are things we want to do that [involve growing up], but then what?

"Once you put them in college, it's like, 'Okay. Then Hannah Montana does what?' So, it's kind of hard to keep it going when there's only really so much you can do with the character that can only grow so much," she continues.

Check out the rest of the interview below to find out how Miley deals with criticism and to hear what Jason Earles, Moises Arias, Emily Osment & Billy Ray Cyrus think about the end of the show.
